There's dieting and there's your diet, two words with very different meanings. Dieting means losing weight whereas diet is the food you eat on a day-to-day basis. What I've tried to do with this book is combine the two so that you can eat well and lose weight at the same time.
The Diabetes Weight Loss Diet is not a quick fix. It's a diet that is healthy and will improve your well-being as well as your weight and equally important, I think you're going to enjoy it. Follow the menu plans, mix and match recipes if you want, but always remember to keep an eye on the calories. The food is so enjoyable you may be tempted to ask for second helpings, so be disciplined, learn to enjoy smaller portions and your body will soon get used to it. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
